Polo

The king of sports

Polo in our country is intimately associated with the Hurlingham Club, which is considered to be the cradle of the “Abierto Argentino”. Since 1893 its home to the Hurlingham Open Championship, considered to be the oldest one in the world and the second leg in the Triple Crown Cup. It is, no doubt, symbolic of Hurlingham and has made it well known since the very beginning.

Our fields have hosted the best polo players in history. Court No 1 “Lewis Lacey” is the oldest one in Argentina with over a 125 years of tradition and the first one to use charts. Great classics and memorable finals were played here, games that are still remembered despite the passage of time.
